Only what the app needs in order to run:
We do not collect location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, health data, or advertising identifiers. We never see which apps you use or for how long.
We do not use advertising SDKs or sell personal data to data brokers.
FlexMax uses PostHog for product analytics. It records product interactions such as onboarding steps, check-ins, recovery actions, and insight views, linked to your account ID. It never receives the text of your reflections, only a length category.
The free trial lets you plan, check in, and reflect for 14 days. Those records are collected to operate your account and build the history used for personal insights, which are generated once the paid subscription begins. You start the trial by choosing a subscription in the App Store. Apple processes payment; FlexMax never receives your card details. The subscription renews after 14 days unless you cancel in iPhone Settings before the trial ends. We receive your subscription status (active, trial, expired) from Apple through our billing provider, RevenueCat, linked to your account ID.
If you choose not to start a trial, you will be offered a separate, read-only example profile with two months of history and a generated Theory of You. The example does not contain your trial records. Requests to access, export, or delete your data can be sent to the contact address below regardless of whether you subscribe.
To operate the app: display your schedule, send reminders, compute streaks and statistics, and generate your insights. Product analytics events help us see where onboarding and recovery flows need improvement.
In-app feedback goes to the founder to review bugs and ideas. It does not include your schedule or check-ins. Other users cannot see it.
flexmaxai.com uses PostHog to count visits and see which pages are read, how much of the demo video is watched, how far pages are scrolled, and which install button is tapped. It records the referring site (for example, Reddit) and basic device and browser details. PostHog receives your IP address to estimate your country.
The website does not set cookies or keep a lasting identifier in your browser, so visits are not linked to you across sessions. The referring site is remembered only until you close the tab. Website analytics are not connected to your app account.
When an insight is generated, a summary of your recent completion history and reflection text is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate a personalized insight. Your name, email address and account ID are not included: the request carries counts, your block names, your reflection text and your chosen tone, with nothing identifying whose days they are. Text you write yourself can still mention people or places, so it is worth knowing what goes into a reflection.
That summary includes reflection text you wrote, which may contain personal details you include. Account email addresses are not supplied as a separate profile field. Personal insight generation requires a paid subscription and does not run during the free trial.
Anthropic does not use API data to train their models. See Anthropic's privacy policy.
Your data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL), hosted in the United States. Account data is protected by row-level security. In-app feedback is accessible to the operator for review, not to other users.
Push notifications are delivered through Expo's push service.
We keep your data while your account is active.
To delete your account and the data associated with it, go to Account in the app and choose Delete account. Deletion is immediate and permanent. You can also email flexmaxai@gmail.com from the address on the account.
You can request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your data by contacting us at flexmaxai@gmail.com.
FlexMax is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
When we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be communicated in-app.
